How do I get it?
You need to belong to Multiply and Pick n Pay Smart Shopper to qualify and you need to activate the benefit to earn cashbacks. There are two types of activation.
To activate your in-store benefit:
This is the process you need to follow to earn cashbacks when you shop at physical Pick n Pay stores. We'll need your Smart Shopper number to get going.
- Activate the in-store Pick n Pay benefit by:
- logging into multiply.co.za and entering your Smart Shopper card number under My Partner Rewards before you start shopping, or
- Call our call centre on 0861 88 66 00.
- To get cashbacks, swipe your Multiply card before you pay for your goods.
To activate your online shopping benefit:
This is the process you need to follow to earn cashbacks when you shop online at www.pnp.co.za.
- Go to www.pnp.co.za.
- Create a profile by following the steps to sign up or log in to your existing Pick n Pay profile.
- Once logged in, navigate to My Dashboard → Edit Profile → Third-Party Loyalty.
- Enter your Multiply card number and click on Save. Your card number will be validated.
- You will then need to log out, close the session and wait 24 hours for the benefit to be activated. When you log in again after 24 hours, your Multiply Pick n Pay online shopping benefit will be activated.
- You will automatically earn cashbacks when you shop online.
Using the benefit
Using the benefit:
- To get cashbacks, swipe your Multiply card in store before you pay.
- If you are shopping online on the Pick n Pay app or pnp.co.za, you will receive your cashbacks automatically (once you have activated the benefit.)
- Pay for your goods.
- Your cashbacks are paid into your Multiply Money savings wallet within 7 days.
- View the cashbacks that have been paid into your Multiply Money savings wallet on your cashbacks statement when you log in.
- This benefit is available to main members and partners on Multiply Premier and Provider.
- Cashbacks will be awarded based on your Multiply status and will be awarded on qualifying products at each cashback partner.
- Multiply reserves the right at any time to exempt certain products from earning cashbacks at its discretion.
- Cashbacks will not be awarded for purchases made on the Pick n Pay ASAP! app.
- Smart Shoppers who have lost their Smart Shopper card should collect a new card at any Pick n Pay store and then contact the Pick n Pay Customer Care line on 0800 11 22 88 or email [email protected] Multiply do not need to be informed of the new smart shopper number. Remember to keep swiping both your Multiply card and your Pick n Pay Smart Shopper card to earn maximum rewards.
- At Pick n Pay, items excluded from earning cashbacks from Multiply include, but are not limited to, as prohibited by legislation:
- tobacco and tobacco related products
- Pick n Pay gift cards and top-ups
- wallet top-up
- money transfers
- prescription medicine and pharmaceutical goods
- baby or nutritional formula
- third party services and payments which include, but are not limited to electricity, USA Visa tokens, Axxess ADSL tokens, Hollard Insurance, U-Kash, SAA Cycle voucher, Austrian Visa tokens, Just Surf, Retail Bonds, all lottery tickets, transactions through SAA, bus tickets, MultiChoice, traffic fines, Splashout Mall Cards and pension payments.
